Nearly all of us have occasional hunches, insights, or flashes of intuition that help us make decisions.  Successful people have them often, although they may not think that they do.  They may believe that they are doing everything logically and through intellect and reason, but they are wrong.  The successful real estate magnate who always manages to buy and sell at the right time in the right neighborhoods is using something more.  Whether it's called "Gut Instinct", "feelings", or "educated guess", he is using insights and hunches.  When Thomas Edison would run into a mental block and go take one of his famous naps, usually to wake up with the solution, he was using it.
    Unfortunately, many people ignore these hunches or deny that they even have them.  The result is often mistakes, financial disasters, and sometimes a loss of the ability to have insights.  Fortunately, this can be corrected.  There are a number of things you can do to help increase your receiving hunches and insights and your acceptance of them when you do.

Accept that to a large extent you are responsible for yourself and your world and you can change it.

Accept that we all have insight, intuition and hunches and pay attention to them.

Learn to relax and let solutions flow through you rather than struggling to solve everything intellectually.

Wear blue or purple gems or crystals to help stimulate the more spiritual centers which is where hunches and insights come from.  They should be worn so that they actually touch the skin for the best results.

When you go to bed, tell yourself that the solution will come to you during the night.  If you are not trying to solve a particular problem, than tell yourself that hunches, insights and prophetic dreams will help to guide your path.

One note of caution:  Spiritual gifts tend to work best when used to solve spiritual problems.  When you start using them for materialistic pursuits, they tend to fade away or become unreliable.  This doesn't mean that you can't ask for help with occasional financial or health problems, but asking for the lottery numbers so you can win millions overnight is not acceptable and won't work, unless you want to be beholden to Satan who will sometimes answer such requests - at a price.
