And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James and John,
His brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart.
And was transfigured before them:and his face did shine as the sun,
and his raiment was white as the light.
And behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

Jesus brings the apostles to the top of a mountain where he is tranfigured.
The Essenes always went to a mountain top for their sunrise services.  Coincidence?
It is also interesting that Jesus shines like the sun, like white light, when transfigured.  Bright light and sunlight are often associated with God and angels.
And this is not the only time that Jesus was seen with prophets who had already left the material world.
