Working With Animals
Several years ago when I was in Reno for a Convocation, Bishop Savoy Sr. told us he was working with wasps. I didn't understand what he was talking about at the time. Recently I read in the book "Beyond 2012" by James Endredy (I'll probably post a review when I finish it), that one way to help spread spiritual awakening is through nature: animals, trees, even your house plants. By expressing love, forgiveness and oneness with nature and sharing our energies with nature we help them and all of creation advance their consciousness and spiritual awakening.
While we can advance individually, to some extent we are limited by the world we live in so it is important that we all advance together, humans, animals, the entire world. While some may advance faster than others, if the world is to successfully return to it's original spirit state, we must help our brothers and sisters of all species advance with us. God is doing his part with the creation of the Sun of Righteousness. We have to do our part.

I think that is so true. I think a big part of our spiritual growth is learning that animals have souls. My dog and two cats such individual personalities. They are also very intelligent. Respecting them as spiritual beings also helps us to feel the peace through the unconditional love animals give that allows us to connect spiritually with God. They slow us down and distract us from our hectic lives. Sitting and petting an animals is very relaxing and can help with medical ailments. Symbiotic relationships with animals are very beneficial to our planet.

It's a well established fact that pets help reduce stress and high blood pressure and generally give us a more positive, cheerful outlook which aids in healing. That is why many nursing homes now have pet visits or even resident pets that visit the elderly, many of whom get few visits from relatives. Unfortunately, many apartment complexes for the elderly ban, or severely restrict pets which, through the mentioned therapeutic effects, can add years to their lives.

I recently read a quote from I believe Albert Einstein. It said that the reason we are here is not to help our own personal gains, but we are here to help this planet and it's inhabitants in any way we can to survive. I believe that is exactly how we should all live our lives. And that can mean so many things. Like recycling, going green, or helping a homeless person, rescuing a stray animal,or just being there for someone in need. So many people think that material wealth is so important, but in the end material wealth counts for nothing. It's what you have done with your life to help others that counts.

We do need to start working together, especially now that we are in the end times. We won't do it as egotistical individuals.
