Massage Therapy

If you read this blog regularly, you might get the impression that I consider the physical body unimportant.  That is not true.  I just think that the eternal spirit is much more important.  If the body is sick, tired, in pain, or just stressed and tense, it adds difficulty to the process of spiritual development.  So it makes sense, even for a spiritual person, to take care of the physical body.  Proper nutrition, exercise, and avoiding excess is a good start.
For relieving stress and muscle tension that can prevent proper energy flow, massage works well.  There are a variety of massage techniques, some I've tried, some I haven't, so I won't try to recommend any particular one.  You should try different ones and find what works best for you.  I am fortunate that I don't have to go anywhere to get a massage.  Once a week a masseuse come to the office building where I work and anyone who works there can get a twenty minute acupressure massage at a very reasonable price.  If it's not convenient for you to visit a massage parlor, you can use a hand held vibrator or a vibrating massage chair.  Or better yet, you and your spouse, partner, significant other can learn to give each other a massage.  If you visit the Reno Nevada area, don't forget to visit Steamboat Healing Center for a massage, a soak in a tub of soothing mineral water from geothermal springs, or other spa therapies.

I do subscribe to the article above, and very much feel the same way. I even share the experience of having a massage from a massage business company, never tried the Steamboat Healing Center, as i never went to Nevada, but when traveling to Europe i address to Rent-a-masseuse.com, where they supply a masseuse on demand, in cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, London and Frankfurt. While i am residing in the Hotel or Residential, i use to call them, and consult the several massage services. The Masseuse's are very professional about their work, and because you can request a sensual massage as well, masseuse´s are very appealing, but notice, that there will be no sex despite the ideas you may have. Hope this advice helps by referring to such a credible place.

Yes, it's always a good idea when traveling to book a massage through a company you know.  If that's not possible, ask the hotel Concierge or desk clerk to recommend one.
