Psychometry is a form of ESP where the psychic gets information about a person or event by handling objects that the person handled or were at the event.  Usually, this is about past events, but occasionally, future events are predicted by some psychics using psychometry.  We see this used often by psychic detectives to help locate missing persons or find a criminal.
There are a number of simple things you can do to test yourself or develop your psychometric abilities.  Here are some suggestions:

• While your out of the room, have friends each pick up an object and hold it for a while, than put it down.  You then try to figure out who held what object.
• With one friend, have him pick up and hold one of several objects.  Then you try to figure out which of the objects he held.
• In your attic (or your parents or grandparents), pick up some old object that has been in storage for some time and try to get an image of the person who had it.
• In an antique store, touch some antiques and see if you can pick up anything about the original owner.

If you find that you do have some ability to read objects, hear is a way to know what your cat or dog is up to.  Attach a small object such as  a medal or a pendant to the pets collar.  After several days you can remove it.  Carry it around with you and you can periodically check on your pet.  You may have to recharge it occasionally by putting it back on the pet for a day or two.
