Prophets and Prophecy: India

Prophecy is found in much of the ancient scripture of India.
The Paranas refer to the coming age as the "Kali Age" and predict:

All kings occupying the earth in the Kali Age will be wanting in tranquillity, strong in anger, taking pleasure at all times in lying and dishonesty, inflicting death on women, children, and cows, prone to take the paltry possessions of others, with character that is mostly vial, rising to power and soon falling. They will be short-lived, ambitious, of little virtue, and greedy. People will follow the customs of others and be adulterated with them; peculiar, undisciplined barbarians will be vigorously supported by rulers. Because they go on living with perversion, they will be ruined. Dharma becomes very weak in the Kali Age. People commit sin in mind, speech, and actions. Quarrels, plague, fatal diseases, famines, drought, and calamities appear. Testimonies and proofs have no certainty. There is no criterion left when the Kali Age settles down...Earth will be valued only for her mineral treasures. Money alone will confer nobility. Power will be the sole definition of virtue...The pretense of greatness will be the proof of it, and powerful men with many severe faults will rule over all the classes on Earth.  Oppressed by their excessively greedy rulers, people will hide in valleys between mountains, where they will gather honey, vegetables, roots, fruits, birds, flowers and so forth.

Vedic prophecies:

Thieves will become kings, and kings will be the thieves.

Base men who have gained a certain amount of learning (without having the virtues necessary for its use) will be esteemed as sages. (This sounds like some of the ministers of today who treat religion as a money-making business rather than a school of truth and wisdom)

The god of clouds will be inconsistent in the distribution of the rains.

Men will devote themselves to earning money; the richest will hold power.

A mass of clouds charged with energy, destroyer of all (sarvantaka), will appear in the sky like a herd of elephants. [Vishnu Purana 1.8.18-31] (An atomic bomb?)

The world dissolves into the imperceptible The destruction of the world is implied in the very event of the creation and follows the reverse process in the thoughts of the Creator. When the force of expansion (tamas) and that of concentration (sattva) equalize, the tension (rajas), which is the primary cause, the substance (pradhana) of the universe, ceases to exist and the world dissolves into the imperceptible.

Seven humanities must again succeed each other on earth, and when the Golden Age reappears, seven sages will emerge to again teach the divine law to the few survivors of the four castes. [Shiva Purana 5.4.40-70] (the prophecies of my church also prophesize seven great teachers)

Those few humans who survive the holocaust will be the progenitors of the future humanity (Danielou).

Mahatma Gandhi is known to just about everyone for his non-violent fight to free India.  He was also a spiritual teacher and prophet.  He prophesied that if India split, India and Pakistan would end up in four wars. So far, three have happened.
