Prophets and Prophesy: Hopi
The Hopi are from the southwest United states, specifically, the four corners area. 
Here are some prophecies from various Hopi sources:
World War III will be started by those peoples who first revealed the light which is the divine wisdom or intelligence in the other old countries of India, China, Islamic Nations, Africa.
...The war will be a spiritual conflict with material matters. Material matters will be destroyed by spiritual beings who will remain to create one world and one nation under one power, that of the Creator.
In the Hopi Prophecy, it spoke of a white man who would come to them and help transform the entire continent into a spiritual paradise.
"Nature, the First People and the spirit of our ancestors are giving you loud warnings. Today, December 10, 1992, you see increasing floods, more damaging hurricanes, hail storms, climate changes and earthquakes as our prophesies said would come. Even animals and birds are warning us with strange change in their behavior such as the beaching of whales. Why do animals act like they know about the earth's problems and most humans act like they know nothing? If we humans do not wake up to the warnings, the great purification will come to destroy this world just as the previous worlds were destroyed. " Thomas Banyacya (Hopi)
We're between the first light of a new day and the sunrise. The sunrise is about to come and when it comes up everyone is going to see it. But you know how it is in the village there's a few people that get up early, and there are some that sleep until noon.
they're going to build what the elders called the "house in the sky"...When you see people living in the sky on a permanent basis, you will know the Great Spirit is about to grab the earth...And so they say there's going to be the Third Shaking of the Earth...And when we survive it, then there's going to be another attempt to make a circle of the human beings on the earth.
"Make a place for yourself in the mountains because the air will become so hot down here"
Baha'i means "follower of the light", or the "people of Bah". We've been waiting for these people for a long time. They say they will bring a Teaching that will unite the earth. So we need to share this Teaching.

I'm tired of how many of us don't give a darn about how our population numbers are overpopulating our earth, and having impact on climate change. Read my recent post on http://peoplepowergranny.blogspot.com, and tell me what size you think families should be today.

I agree, overpopulation is a serious problem. I think limiting families to one child, as you suggest on your blog, may be a bit extreme, but I certainly see no reason for people to be having five, six, or ten kids. Unfortunately, global warming and natural disasters may solve it for us since we aren't willing to do anything ourselfs.
