On Martin Luther King Jr

Each year (usually) The Advocates for Religious Rights and Freedoms, part of the International Community of Christ, selects a person for a special honor called Enshrinement.  This honor is for promoting and benifiting spiritual rights and spiritual development.
In 1999 the award went to Martin Luther King Jr.  Here are a few quotes from Dr. King:

I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. That is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.

Let no man pull you low enough to hate him.

Man must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love.

Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.
