Crystal Dreams
When drafting my entry the other day about rose quartz, I remembered a dream I had quite a few years ago. It was a few months after I joined the International Community of Christ.
In the dream, I am hiking through woods and meadows on a warm, sunny day. I notice something glint in the sun on the path I'm following. I bend down and pick up the rock and find that it is part of a geode and the other side is all crystals. I check other rocks on the trail and find that quite a few of them are geodes filled with various crystals including amethyst and quartz. Some of the quartz is clear, but some of it has a slight gold tinge as if it the crystals were plated with a very thin layer of gold.
Dreams about gems and crystals are always a good omen. Amethyst symbolizes sincere friendship. Quartz symbolizes things are soon to be revealed. Fields is a good omen, but forest symbolizes distress, anxiety, worries. To see the sun symbolizes spiritual awakening. So my interpretation of this dream is that I was concerned about my decision to join ICC, but the decision was correct and would lead to spiritual awakening, revealed truth and bring me real friends. This dream, and others, helped convince me that I had made the correct decision.

Great story and great dream. I think your interpretation is right on. More people should pay attention to their dreams, they really are messages. We can get a lot of guidance through dreams. I also think we can get a lot of learning done when we're dreaming. I don't think that sleep is just meant to be "nothing" time or down time. I feel it's more of a battery charging time and for people that's connecting spiritually. You paid attention and followed your dreams and it's been very fulfilling and was clearly the right choice.

Thanks. One thing many don't know regarding dreams is that the time of the dream is important. A dream you have within the first two hours of sleep is primarily about the past. A dream after five or six hours sleep is mostly about the future. In between, they are mostly about the present.

I believe all of us have had dreams of gemstones since being in this Church. My dream... I was walking with Jean Savoy, he stoped walking and pointed to the ground and gave me a shovel to dig.
I dug up all different kinds of gemstones, it was so beautiful! How I treasure this dream of Jean

Yes, I suspect many of us have. Yours seems to combine the "gemstone dream" with the "working for the community" dream into one.
(I'm assuming you meant "Gene Savoy"). In my version of the "working for the community" dream, I saw myself helping a group of community members build a brick building.
One day I'll have to tell Sean Savoy the dream I had where he is dressed in a tuxedo for one of our luncheons and someone pushes him in the swimming pool at the hotel. I never figured out what it meant, but it was funny.
