Twelve Days of Christmas - My Version
On the first day of Christmas the true God gave us all
a baby so innocent and small.
On the second day of Christmas the True God, always fair
Gave parents who give the infant care.
On the third day of Christmas the Magi came to pray
before the infant sleeping in the hay.
On the forth day of Christmas the four winds carried news
of a messiah come to be the Holy Muse.
On the fifth day of Christmas the angels came to sing
about the glory of the newborn King.
On the sixth day of Christmas the anti-christ was born
with hopes to bring the baby Christ to scorn.
On the seventh day of Christmas a rainbow filled the sky
to tell us all the Magi didn't lie.
On the eighth day of Christmas eight Rabbis came to see
the Child that could set them all free.
On the ninth day of Christmas, nine prayers spoke strong, not mild
to keep all evil from the Holy Child.
On the tenth day of Christmas, ten soldiers came to see
and fell before the Child upon their knee.
On the eleventh day of Christmas, eleven teachers brought
the young Messiah all the wisdom taught.
On the twelfth day of Christmas is when God gave the most,
He filled His Child up with the Holy Ghost.
