The Robe of Jesus

The outer robe of Jesus, his vestment, was said to have been seamless (some versions say of a single thread).
It was one whole, not made of pieces, not divided.  Making such a garment was difficult so they were rare and expensive.  So why was the son of a poor carpenter wearing such a garment?
The seamless robe is the robe of a high priest, especially an Essene high priest.  The only reason Jesus would be wearing one is if the Essenes recognized him as a Rabbi and high priest.
