The Easter Island Statues

The enigmatic statues of Easter Island have a striking resemblance to a group of Essene monks facing sunrise for their morning prayers and techniques.  Coincidence?  Maybe.  But I don't think so.
Thor Heyerdahl believed the people of Easter Island had come from Peru and so brought with them some knowledge of the religious and spiritual beliefs from Peru.  DNA testing of the island natives have disproved that theory, but it is possible that the islanders visited Peru and brought back knowledge of the people there.  Some archaeological evidence indicates this may be the case.
