Some teach that there are many kinds of Love:
love for yourself, love of family, love of friends, love of pets, etc.
I think all real love is the same: recognition of God in everyone and everything.
Many who read the book of Malachi in the Bible think the Sun of Righteousness is going to destroy the world with fire. The truth is, the Sun of Righteousness is here to transform the world with spiritual fire into a World of Light as it was before the fall.
A century ago mothers gave kids honey and lemon for a cold or sore throat. Then, about fifty years ago, cough medicine became popular and parents started giving kids cough syrup and cough drops. Recent studies have shown these products do very little for the child's cold. But they did find something that does. A different study showed that honey is effective at soothing a sore throat! Around and around and around we go.

Have you ever been not welcome in your own yard? My neighbor's female Rottweiler often goes under the fence to get into my back yard and play with my dogs. On week days, this happens when I'm at work, but on the weekend I'm often at home. If I go out in the yard when they are playing, the Rottweiler will growl at me for disturbing them!
I don't mind when my dog Nova (80 lb Great Pyranees) decides to sleep on my bed and use my legs as a pillow -
except when she decides her pillow needs fluffing.

Enjoyed the dog story. I have cats,meow meow, two of them and when I am asleep they come and go constantly into my bedroom, that door is the most used in the house lol
Animals are so smart more then many humans I know I would say but dont tell anyone I said this ok hehe
In my neck of the woods everyone hs a pet dog or two. So many dogs now, I asked a good friend of mine a question about this, why do so many people have dogs nowadays so many more then ever before, is it because, "Dogs are man's best friends" I asked? No he said, it is because of protection!! People he said feel safer with a dog in the world of today. The dog barks at any strange sounds,keeping the bad guys away so to speak.

I agree with your friend. I didn't get dogs for that reason, but I have noticed where I live that there are far less robberies in neighborhoods where there are a lot of dogs compares with other areas.

That is very intersting Harold, perhaps I wilL get a dog.... They are protectors to us in many many, the main one being their bark...
