On Retirement

People in jobs they really love are never in a hurry to retire.  We see this especially in the arts.  Singers, actors, painters, writers and other artists seldom retire at 65 unless poor health forces them to.  A few businessmen and women also don't retire, but not many.  Another area that we don't usually consider is religion.  Priests, ministers, Rabbis, etc seldom retire at age 65.  Not only because they love the job, but also because they love God.

Very true.  Few are passionate about the work they do.  A simple test.  Ask yourself "If a win a multi-million dollar lottery would I quit my job?".  If the answer is yes, than your not passionate about the job, though you may still be passionate
about the field your in.  Of course, you can't always get a job your passionate about.  Sometimes, you have to take what you can to survive until the time is right to take a risk.
