This book is part of a series that contain Stereograms.  When you look at the two-dimensional images in the book with you eyes slightly crossed (how to do it is described in the book) a three-d image suddenly appears.
Viewing these images is believed to strengthen the eyes and to help both sides of the brain to work together.
