When a science is new, it usually starts in laboratories and research centers, then to colleges, then high school and finally grade school as has happened with Computer Science.  So I wonder what we can expect once genetic engineering trickles down to grade school.  Here are some possibilities:

Oceans full of peanut butter and jelly fish

Chickens with six legs

Fields full of chocolate wildflowers

Harry Potter creature creating contests

And of course happy juice that will make Mom and Dad say "Yes" to whatever the kids ask for.
