Superstring is a wonderful thing
It makes all the matter when it starts to sing
But if ever it should just be quite
All matter will be gone, won't that be a riot!

The quantum physics superstring theory tells us that the tiny sub-atomic particles, as well as natural forces like gravity, are all really the same thing.  They are all tiny one-dimensional "strings" that vibrate at various speeds and the different speeds and patterns of the vibrations create the appearance of different particles and forces.
What is really interesting is that the math for this only works if there are ten dimensions of space plus time.
So why do we never see more than three dimensions?  The physicists think this is because the other dimensions are extremely small.  That is because they assume all of the dimensions are material.  But if some of them are spiritual, they could be any size since spirit doesn't actually occupy space.  Then the strings would actually be vibrating between the spiritual dimensions, the true source of everything, and the material dimensions.

It is interesting that after many years of developing the necessary mathematical formulas, modern science has come up with the same number of dimensions as many ancient mystical schools such as the Jewish Kabbala.
