When I was a teenager my mother briefly worked in a factory that made plastic goods.  She would sometimes bring home cups, bowls or tumblers that she got free.  Whenever a machine was changing colors of whatever it made, they couldn't completely remove the previous color so the machine would produce a few with mixed colors before all of the previous color was gone.  I always thought it was strange that they gave those to the employees to take home because I thought the ones with the swirls and ripples of various colors were more attractive than the plain ones!

People are somewhat like that. 
We have a material body and mind, a psychic body and mind, and a spiritual body and soul.

When all three are in balance, we are beautiful beings.
