Cell Phones and Aborigines
I wonder what the Australian Aborigines think about cell phone users who will stand in line for three or four days
to get the cell phone flavor-of-the-year?
The Aborigines don't need cell phones. When they want to send a message to someone far off, they just tell a tree. They believe the roots of all trees link together in a huge communication network. Are they right? Probably not. But they believe it so it works! The person gets the message sent through the trees!
I saved this entry as a draft early this morning. A few hours later, I heard the news that Apple was lowering the price on Iphones angering many who already bought them. Just a coincidence.
