Some people think it is impossible to predict the future.  So explain why I’ve already received several calendars for next year.

I’ve read that Mayan prophesies, Egyptian prophesies, and others end in 2012.  Does that mean the end of the world will happen in 2012?

Perhaps.  But maybe it just means some dramatic changes will occur in 2012 and the results are unpredictable.
